Rental Opportunities

Rental Opportunities

The Treehouse Community opened in June 2006 in Easthampton, MA, in the heart of the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts. This award winning new community is located down Button Road on Treehouse Circle, next to the White Brook Middle School and the 100-acre Nonotuck Park. Mt. Tom provides a beautiful backdrop for this innovative intentional village where over 100 people ranging in age from 5 to 94 years old live.

Treehouse facilities include a Community Center with a library, kitchen, gathering space/dining hall which acts as a multi-purpose room for weekly pot lucks, movie nights, game nights, community celebrations, out of school time activities, and much more.
The design of the neighborhood resembles a traditional village center with walkways, play areas, friendly front porches and lots of room to run and grow for community members of all ages.

The Treehouse community offers attractive rental homes, including 48 affordable senior cottages, for individuals over 55 who are interested in a mission driven, caring  community. There are twelve rental homes with 3-5 bedrooms, for families providing permanency for children through adoption, foster, guardianship or kinship care. Treehouse is a diverse community and has attracted seniors and families, from near and far.  Visits, inquiries and applications from interested seniors and families are always welcome.

Thirty-three market rate homes are in process of being built on the larger Treehouse Circle. People of all ages have expressed an interest in owning a home at Treehouse - folks interested in co-housing, people downsizing, former teachers and social workers who want to contribute to the success of this innovative program, foster and adoptive parents who want home equity, and people from all over the country who have heard about Treehouse and want to be a part of this new way of living.
